My name is Ali Batuhan Yilmaz and I am from Istanbul, Turkey but currently living in Milan, Italy. My education life is a little bit different from the one of most designers. In fact, after I studied Business Informatics at İstanbul Bilgi University, I realized that design couldn’t be just an hobby for me: this is the reason why I decided to apply for the Master in Product Design at Domus Academy and I graduated at the top of my class.
After that I got the chances to collect several work experiences in design studios in Milan. Thanks to them, I could improve my portfolio and design skills as well as gain a deeper design perspective. Moreover, during those jobs I could combine my informatics knowledge with design. This made me realize the deep relation between those two fields and gave me a different point of view in terms of design.
